Homemade Cobbler

Quick, easy cobbler recipe that can be used with any fruit that you’d like to make into a yummy dessert!

You don’t need a cake mix to make a quick cobbler! 😅

You probably have everything you need right at hand, if you already have the fruit you are wanting to use. 😊

I had some blueberries and peaches that needed to be eaten..so I just combined them into one delicious cobbler.

Blueberry Peach Cobbler

🫐 3-5 cups blueberries

🍑 3 medium peaches, cut up

🫐 1 cup all purpose flour

🫐 1 cup sugar

🫐 1 tsp baking powder

🫐 3/4 tsp salt

🫐 1 egg, beaten

🫐 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted

🫐 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 2-quart baking dish with non stick spray, or rub butter all over the bottom and sides.

Spread your berries and peaches out in the baking dish. Don’t get hung up on exact amounts of fruit..just put in what you have or what looks good to you.

Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl and mix well.

Stir in the beaten egg and mix all together until it is a little crumbly. I used a fork and also my hand. 🙂

Now, crumble this mixture over your fruit in the baking dish. Spread it around evenly on top of the fruit.

Drizzle the melted butter on top of this crumble.

Finally, sprinkle the top with cinnamon! 😍

Bake uncovered for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

This is best served warm out of the oven and even better with vanilla ice cream!

I’ll be writing a post to share my Granny’s Homemade Ice Cream recipe before the summertime is officially over. Be watching for that!

Please don’t skimp on the butter, it needs it for the crumble! 😅

Try this! And let us know in the comments what berries or fruit you tried and loved! Blessings! Summer ☀️
